I'm sick of stifling smoke
in the room I trapped myself in so long ago,
where the blinds remain forever closed.
Will it change? I hope so.
'Cause I have spent the past two years
trying to find some peace of mind
and I think I might've found it this time.

Now I'm finally listening to all those times I was told,
"Don't keep your thoughts beneath the surface.
All that does is defeat the purpose."
Feel the weight of reality

I'll dig out my way through all of my mistakes and past discretions.
